The Wildlife and Nature Club Jr. , established around 25 years ago, is an active and spirited community led by its unwavering love towards nature to inculcate the importance of conservation, wildlife and preservation of our environment.
It is a platform which brings together like minded individuals who share a passion for protecting and conserving our mother nature and also to learn, protect and celebrate the wonders of the natural world.
The main objective of wildlife and nature club is to promote the conservation and protection of wildlife and natural ecosystems.
Our goal is to ensure the long-term sustainability of our planet's precious natural resources. Our vision is to safeguard biodiversity, protect natural habitats, and inspire a sustainable, harmonious coexistence between humans and the environment. Our committee has succeeded in promoting environmental awareness, and instilling a sense of responsibility among students. We have even hosted workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns to educate students and the community about environmental issues.
We have collaborated with well known communities and organisers for treks and beach clean ups, and worked on conservation projects, such as tree planting, clean-up events, lending a compassionate hand to animals, and wildlife monitoring.Our club specifically works keeping in mind the 5Ps of the SDGs: Planet, People, Peace, Prospertity and Partnership.
We are looking forward to increase student involvement and interest in wildlife and nature conservation. The club is fuelled with passion to conserve and preserve nature and will do so by such activities.
