Collaboration 2023-24
Through
collaboration our institution is maintaining a closer contact with the work
field. It helps keep the academic activities in the institution in a more
realistic perspective and also expand the scope for experiential learning to
the students.
At our
institution, we have sought collaboration with the industry and other agencies
of professional and social relevance. The range of activities could include
training, internship, resource sharing among the few.

Narsee Monjee
College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous) signed an MOU with Khadi and Village Industries Commission
(KVIC), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of
India on 4th May 2022 for 2 years, for common interest and objectives of
student development. The budding graduates play a key role in technological
upgradation, innovation and competitiveness of the industry and both parties
believe that close cooperation between the two would benefit the student
community to enhance their skills and knowledge by means of Industrial
training, Internships, Skill development programs etc.

Narsee
Monjee College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous) and Bombay Industries Association (BIA) renewed an MOU of collaboration
to strengthen Academia industry linkage on 12th Jan 2023 for 2 years.
This collaboration will be carried out in, but not necessarily limited to
Internship opportunities for our students, BIA participation in college events,
Industrial visits for students, Consultancy and Research projects that can be carried
out by our faculty members for BIA and Guest Lectures and Seminars that BIA
members can participate in as Resource Persons.

For giving an
experimental learning experience to the students, our college has signed an MOU
with Ekal Yuva NGO on 10thSeptember 2022 for 2 years. The aim of this MOU is to sensitise the students
about the social problems and issues so that they can be a good citizen
imbibing social values.

college formalized a partnership that holds great promise for the academic and
professional development of our students by signing the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) between Narsee Monjee College and the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Cost
Accountants in India on 30th January 2024 for 5 years. It symbolizes
the commitment of both institutions to fostering academic collaboration,
knowledge exchange, and the overall growth of our students.
