Arithmós: A Cognitive Expedition - the annual intercollegiate Mathematics and Statistics Festival of N.M. College, was conceived with the objective of removing the humdrum blocks existing in the mindset of students by approaching mathematics and statistics in its purest form- in the real world by focusing on their practical aspects in day-to-day life. 

Arithmós aims to bridge the gap between mathematics as a subject and mathematics as a way of life. By combining hidden mathematical concepts with everyday life, Arithmós is more than just a mathematics fest. It is a coming together of aptitude, reasoning, logic, management and strategy.
