Their mission is to showcase to the public eye, the unflagging spirit of NM in all its glory through print and visual media and all other possible avenues!
The Brand Building committee is responsible for managing the college’s official social media handles, with an aim to showcase achievements of the college and its students across different spheres. Their primary goal is to create an inclusive and informative platform for students, enabling them to stay updated on the latest events and activities organized by various fests and committees within the college To achieve this, the committee takes great care in crafting posts, reels, and stories to maximize engagement. They go the extra mile by personally attending events to capture and cover them on the college’s Instagram page, resulting in their reels surpassing thousands of views on social media. Furthermore, they also extend support to all college committees through shoutouts, stories, and posts to effectively reach out to the students.
The committee takes charge of highlighting exceptional events and activities organized by college students and ensuring that these remarkable occasions and the talented individuals behind them receive the recognition they deserve. They diligently craft comprehensive reports and utilise diverse media channels and innovative strategies to promote NM College’s events and accomplishments, ensuring that the world is well-informed. Not only do they contribute to the college’s external PR, but they also organize and promote events within the college.
Official Humans of NM
Additionally, the Brand Building Committee is dedicated in showcasing the inspiring stories of its talented and exceptional students through a unique platform called “Official Humans of NM” on Instagram. Official Humans of NM is the brainchild of the Brand Building Committee which provides a platform where students, faculty, non-faculty, and all allied persons at NM College can share their stories, experiences, and reflect on their journey, highlighting the invaluable impact NM has had on their college lives.
The Brand Building committee arranges a variety of events, including the annual flagship event called ‘Milaap,’ the association fair, where students can explore and learn about the different committees and fests of the college. Besides, they undertake various community service projects with a vision of giving back to society and making a positive impact on the lives of others. Initiatives like ‘Mission Enlight’ involving volunteers teaching underprivileged children while ‘Million Dollar Collar’ focuses on tying reflective collars on stray dogs, are initiated with an objective of promoting welfare and upliftment in the society. Other initiatives include, organizing Covid awareness session for factory workers, self-defence workshop on Women’s day, and conducting food donation drives. They also celebrate festivals such as Rakshabandhan with policemen, Christmas with children at NGOs, sweets and gifts distribution on Diwali, and Friendship Day with specially-abled kids.
