ANNOUNCING ADMISSIONS

 

Admissions to the First Year of Junior College (F.Y.J.C.) will commence only after the results of the SSC examinations are declared by SSC Board. The results of the SSC Examinations are usually declared by the Board by Mid June.

 

Admission to the FYJC Class is through the ONLINE ADMISSION PROCESS implemented by the Deputy Director's Office of the Government of Maharashtra. Applicants are requested to read the newspapers for the information and procedure. The information will be displayed on the website as and when we receive it from the Government.

 

SVKM’S Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics is recognized as Linguistic (Gujarati Speaking) Minority Institution. The admission for the

  1. In-house Quota (20%): (applicable to students of Gokhalibai, CNMS and SVKM International)
  2. Minority Quota (50%): Domicile Gujarati Speaking residents of Maharashtra (Subject to documentary evidences) and
  3. Management Quota (5%)

Is done at the college level and is NOT covered under the ONLINE ADMISSION PROCESS implemented by the Office of the Deputy Director, Government of Maharashtra.

 

.For all the other category, the applicant will have to follow the ONLINE ADMISSION PROCESS implemented by the Office of Deputy Director, Government of Maharashtra.

 

Applicants are requested to note that Mathematics and Statistics is a compulsory subject at N M College and we do NOT offer the option of Secretarial Practice or any other subject as Optional Subject. Thus students who have opted for lower mathematics in the Xth std. are not eligible for admission to NM College in FYJC.

 

NOTE:

Students from other boards whose results of the SSC / equivalent examinations are declared must apply for Statement of Eligibility” to the office of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Vashi, New Mumbai
